Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of electrical services provided by Royal Electric Services, including all appointments booked through our website www.rduelectricians.com or by phone, email, or SMS. By scheduling services with us, you ("Customer") agree to the following terms.

Royal Electric Services will perform electrical services as described in the approved estimate or proposal provided to the Customer.
Example: If the customer accepts a quote for a panel upgrade and outlet installation, work will be limited to that specific scope.

Additional services beyond the agreed scope may require a written change order (see Section 3).

Payment is due as outlined in the estimate or invoice, and may include:

• A deposit before work begins (if applicable)
• intermediate payment (if applicable)
• Final payment upon job completion
• Accepted forms: Credit card, Debit Cards, Check, 

Late payments may incur a fee 

Any modification to the original scope of work must be documented and approved in writing by both parties.
Example: If the customer decides to add recessed lighting after the initial agreement, a revised estimate will be provided for approval.

Change orders may include adjustments to price and schedule.

We offer a 2 year  limited warranty on labor and workmanship. Manufacturer warranties apply to all installed materials or equipment.

The warranty is void if:

• The installation is tampered with or modified by someone other than Royal Electric Services
• Damage occurs from misuse, abuse, or unrelated system failures

Royal Electric Services maintains appropriate  insurance as required by state and local laws.

Customers are advised to notify their homeowners’ or business insurers about any upgrades or electrical work completed. 

Either party may terminate this agreement in writing with 2 weeks notice. If the customer cancels after work has commenced:

• A cancellation fee may apply
• Customer will be responsible for payment for labor, materials, and time already expended

Any sensitive information shared between Royal Electric Services and the Customer during the project (e.g., Services, Information, blueprints, security system layouts) shall be kept confidential and used solely for project execution.

By submitting your phone number through our website or during service booking, you consent to receive SMS messagesrelated to:

• Appointment confirmations
• Scheduling updates
• Service-related reminders
• Follow-ups or feedback requests

You may opt-out anytime by replying STOP.

We do not send promotional messages without consent.

These Terms, along with the estimate, invoice, and any written change orders, constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and Royal Electric Services. This supersedes any prior verbal agreements, discussions, or understandings.

No modification shall be valid unless in writing and signed by both parties.

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

Any negotiations shall be followed and allowed by North Carolina State laws.
